Egyptian Princess Beaded Watch
A gift of art that symbolizes nobility and divinity, this watch has a design based on a pectoral dating from the Middle Kingdom, Dynasty 12, c. 1887 - 1813 BCE. The pectoral’s owner has been established as Princess Sit-hathor-yunet and it was, most likely, a gift from the reigning Pharaoh Senwosret II since it bears his name.
Watch: 18K gold overlay case, hand enameled, with a reconstituted turquoise bead bracelet and a fold-over closure and quartz movement.
