About Us
Kipling de Freitas is devoted to the audacious ideal of using art to pursue spiritual elevation. It is located in the tiny village of Otego (about 1,000 inhabitants) in upper New York State in the U.S. and specialises in the distribution of art objects such as painting and sculpture and the promotion of fine art practitioners and performers through videos and CDs.
The name de Freitas is an old one. According to the Amorial Lusitano, the Portuguese family of this name is descended from Gonçalo Ouveques, founder of the monastery of Cete (circa 985).
